Updated with geothermal heating and cooling and solar panels, this construction embodies the ideal combination of historical charm and modern efficiency. With over 25 sprawling acres beyond the barn, the landscape is perfect for relaxing on the wraparound porch with a delicious glass of wine at hand.

At Willow Spring Vineyards, you’ll find distinctive varietals with a particular emphasis on French hybrid grapes. Many of the wines, such as the Marechal Foch and Chardonnay, are 100% estate-grown. Others feature a blend of Willow Spring grapes and other locally grown varieties. You can even find specialty wines, such as rhubarb wine and Indulgence, a Leon Millot infused with dark chocolate. Guests who would like to delve deeper into the story behind these wines can schedule a weekend tour. These tours last for around 45 minutes and include a tasting of five wines and a commemorative wine glass.

If you’d prefer to enjoy your tasting outdoors, you can book a table at Vintner’s Knoll. At this outdoor dining venue, you can order food and drinks to your table via a convenient QR code. The menu includes wraps, sandwiches, flatbreads, and light bites, such as charcuterie boards and pretzel boards. For an indoor dining experience, head to J’s Restaurant. Conveniently located on-site, this restaurant serves a mouthwatering menu with dishes such as roasted Statler chicken, Hudson Valley duck, and New England halibut. Broken Creek Vineyard

Broken Creek Vineyard encompasses a converted barn and around 5 acres of grape vines and fruit. The vineyard produces both estate-grown wines and varieties made with imported grapes from Washington, California, Chile, and South Africa. All wines served here are produced on-site.

Though Broken Creek Vineyard does not serve food, you can pre-order a charcuterie tray through their partner, charCUTErie Woo. Outside food is welcome as well. However, you must take all of your trash home with you, so plan accordingly.

Alfalfa Farm Winery

Alfalfa Farm Winery is family-owned and operated, offering a charming and friendly experience for every visitor. The grounds date back 300 years and once served as a dairy farm. You can stop in for a public wine tasting of five wines with a signature wine glass any time the facility is open.

You can also book a private tasting for larger groups. A private classic tasting lasts for 90 minutes and requires 10 to 20 guests. With a group of 15 or more, you can book the two-hour gourmet tasting complete with cheese, pepperoni, and crackers. With 25 people or more, you can opt for the vintner’s tasting, which lasts for two-and-a-half hours and includes a selection of appetizers, sandwiches, and wraps.

Mill River Winery

Mill River Winery is a female-owned business that serves three distinctive labels. The Mill River Winery Signature label features handcrafted dry-styled varietals.
